Description of the service
My IP provides free informational tools related to public IP addresses, approximate IP-based location, Internet service providers, browsers, operating systems, connection details, DNS records, reverse DNS information, IPv4 subnet calculations and public domain registration data retrieved through RDAP.
Features may include checking the public IP address visible to the website, looking up another public IPv4 or IPv6 address, querying DNS records for a domain or hostname, checking PTR records associated with an IP address, calculating IPv4 subnet details and retrieving public WHOIS-style domain registration information through RDAP.
Informational purpose
The information provided by My IP is for general informational and technical purposes. It should not be treated as professional, legal, security or location-verification advice.
Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful information, but results may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. IP-based location is an estimate and must not be considered an exact physical address or precise GPS location.
DNS, reverse DNS, WHOIS/RDAP, ISP, ASN and geolocation results depend on third-party databases, public registration records, resolver caches and network routing. A missing or unexpected result does not by itself prove that a domain, server, IP address or service is unavailable, unsafe or owned by a particular person.
Queries submitted to the tools
You are responsible for the IP addresses, domains, URLs and hostnames you submit. Do not enter passwords, authentication tokens, confidential information or content that you are not authorized to process. Queries may be transmitted to third-party providers that supply DNS, geolocation, network or public domain registration information, including authoritative RDAP services.
Service availability
The website and its features may be changed, suspended, interrupted or discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Acceptable use
You must use My IP lawfully and responsibly. You may not attempt to damage, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the website, its servers, APIs or connected services. Automated use that unreasonably affects service availability is also prohibited.
You may not use the website to facilitate unlawful access, harassment, fraud, malicious scanning, attacks, evasion of security controls or violation of another person's rights. Results must not be represented as proof of identity, ownership, exact physical location or wrongdoing.
Third-party services and advertising
My IP may rely on third-party providers for IP information, approximate geolocation, DNS resolution, domain registration data, maps, analytics and advertising. We do not control the availability, accuracy, content or privacy practices of those third-party services. Their own terms and policies may apply.
Advertisements and external links may lead to websites or services operated by third parties. Their appearance does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement by My IP. Review the third party's terms, privacy policy and security practices before using its services or providing information.
No ownership or affiliation determination
An IP lookup, DNS result, hostname, provider name, ASN or WHOIS/RDAP result does not by itself establish the identity of a current user, domain controller or beneficial owner. My IP is not affiliated with the people, organizations, domains or networks that may appear in tool results unless expressly stated.
Intellectual property
The website's original design, text, branding and code are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party names, services and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Disclaimer
My IP is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by applicable law. Your use of the website and reliance on its results are at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability
